The Governmental Advertising Site centralizes the broad range of advertisements, announcements and notices published by the government and the public sector in the written press and on the internet.

The objective of the Israeli Governmental Advertising Agency when designing this site was to help the citizen find information which, until then, was published in the written press and often difficult to reach. The agency utilizes the internet to disseminate this information in a way that makes it easy to locate and convenient to use. The Governmental Advertising Site is an addition to the set of varied government services, led by the Accountant General in the Ministry of Finance, which were made readily accessible for public use.

The site offers surfers an easy and user-friendly access to a variety of governmental advertisements and announcements, such as government tenders, civil service employment opportunities, notification of property receivable by the Official Receiver, notices of the Guardian-General and other notices, obituaries, announcements by educational institutions and a large variety of other publications of the kind.

The site is managed and run by the Governmental Advertising Agency (Lapam).
